This website illuminates my life and adventures. My longing for freedom has led me to over 2600 of the world’s 3978 provinces, to every country on earth and to the summit of the highest peak on each continent (thank heaven for good weather!). In my travels, I learned to respect the intelligence and ingenuity of people of all races and callings both past and present. Come see the world as I see it: as a peaceful place, full of nature and beauty. With the right spirit and intent, we can make our world a virtual Garden of Eden.

DK, Greenland, North Coast, Arctic Knot With Chick, 2007, IMG_5182CU2r1 - I crawled on my hands and knees to get close enough to this Arctic Knot. She began to trust me, and let her chicks out from underneath her belly, who were no doubt restless in their nest. They wandered around until their mother called them. Then they ran back underneath the safety of her body.

Peru, Nazca, Spaceman Figure, 1979 - One of the amazing places in the world to visit is the Lines of Nazca, in Nazca, Peru. This is the site mentioned in the book, The Chariot of The Gods. Such figures as this "spaceman" are visible only from an aircraft, as there are no mountains looking down on them. The theory was that the Nazca Indians created these designs on these desolate plains so that creatures from beyond earth could see them. Even more spectacular designs can be seen in northern Chile.
