This website illuminates my life and adventures. My longing for freedom has led me to over 2600 of the world’s 3978 provinces, to every country on earth and to the summit of the highest peak on each continent (thank heaven for good weather!). In my travels, I learned to respect the intelligence and ingenuity of people of all races and callings both past and present. Come see the world as I see it: as a peaceful place, full of nature and beauty. With the right spirit and intent, we can make our world a virtual Garden of Eden.

Papua New Guinea, Caterpillar, 1983 - This remarkable caterpillar suddenly appeared on my arm during my walk from Wava to Frieda Top Camp.
It's been my lifelong dream to attend one of these games. There were about 70 horses with riders, each man for himself! The object is to take the dead goat and bring it to the flag and back to the circle.

Peru, Nazca, Runway For Spaceship, 1979 - One of the big thrills of my early travel life was flying over the Lines Of Nazca. My imagination fueled by the book Chariot of the Gods, wherein it was said that these lines were made by the Nazca Indians to prepare for spaceman to land on Earth, I could really see the plausibility of the author's theories. There were no mountains nearby from which the lines could be viewed, and they could only be viewed from the sky. Puzzling. Interesting. (Photo 110 format from Travel Archives)
