This website illuminates my life and adventures. My longing for freedom has led me to over 2600 of the world’s 3978 provinces, to every country on earth and to the summit of the highest peak on each continent (thank heaven for good weather!). In my travels, I learned to respect the intelligence and ingenuity of people of all races and callings both past and present. Come see the world as I see it: as a peaceful place, full of nature and beauty. With the right spirit and intent, we can make our world a virtual Garden of Eden.

Turkey, Cappadocia, Gnome Houses, 1984 - This photograph shows why the phrase "fairy tale houses" is used to describe Cappadocia (Goreme). On the night of June 6, 1984, I climbed into one and slept. I wrote, "I crawled through twenty feet of tunnel and then came into a cave with an opening as big as a car overlooking Goreme. Then I drank scotch and played the guitar."

Morocco, Two Berber Girls, 1988 - These two young girls were beautiful and shy, yet friendly. The Berber people were open and innocent. The young girls were charming.

Mauritius, Rock on Peak, 2002 - I was incredulous when I saw this distant pinnacle with a large boulder resting on its tip. I have never been able to find its name or any mention of it.
Haiti, Grand-Anse Province, Village Girl, IMG_5043 - This girl lived in a group of huts on the side of a hill just off the road. The beauty of women in the simplest of environments always amazes me. There is no makeup, no flash, but just simple, wholesome good features.
