This website illuminates my life and adventures. My longing for freedom has led me to over 2450 of the world’s 3978 provinces, to every country on earth and to the summit of the highest peak on each continent (thank heaven for good weather!). In my travels, I learned to respect the intelligence and ingenuity of people of all races and callings both past and present. Come see the world as I see it: as a peaceful place, full of nature and beauty. With the right spirit and intent, we can make our world a virtual Garden of Eden.

Falkland Is, King Penguin, 2002 - I wrote in my diary: "We just focused on looking at the King Penguins--they were absolutely beautiful. After Novi went back to the car, I stayed out and shot video and still photographs for a total of maybe an hour. I later went over to the area where the Gentoo Penguins were, and I was dismayed and surprised to see so many dead and dying penguins. The Kings had looked fine, but there were probably more than fifty dead or dying Gentoos. I note that there were also a lot of Magellenic penguins."

Pacific Ocean, Kelly Showering On Deck, 1982 - Kelly and I were part of the five person crew traveling across the Pacific Ocean on the Sugar Bear. To bathe, we showered on deck with salt water, and then rinsed with a small amount of fresh water. Fresh water is used very sparingly on an ocean voyage for obvious reasons.
