This website illuminates my life and adventures. My longing for freedom has led me to over 2600 of the world’s 3978 provinces, to every country on earth and to the summit of the highest peak on each continent (thank heaven for good weather!). In my travels, I learned to respect the intelligence and ingenuity of people of all races and callings both past and present. Singapore, Riverside Point At Dusk, 2007 - Along the main canal that supports night life is Riverside Point, not far from the Swiss Hotel. Staying along this canal, one can go out of their hotels (Riverview, Gallery, etc.) and walk for an hour or more along the footpaths bordering the water.

Congo Zaire, Mobutu, 1984 - Mobutu was the president of Zaire for many, many years, during which time he managed to line his pockets with billions. His trademark was the leopard skin hat. Nearly every establishment in Zaire in 1984 had his photo, captioned with his full name, "Mobutu Sese Seko Ngbendu Wa Za Banga." This meant, "Rooster Who Leaves No Hen Untouched."

Seram, Spider, 2006 - This species of spider was prevalent in the Kanikeh-Roho area of Seram. The specimen shown here is large, but not an adult. The adult grows to about four inches across.
