This website illuminates my life and adventures. My longing for freedom has led me to over 2600 of the world’s 3978 provinces, to every country on earth and to the summit of the highest peak on each continent (thank heaven for good weather!). In my travels, I learned to respect the intelligence and ingenuity of people of all races and callings both past and present. Come see the world as I see it: as a peaceful place, full of nature and beauty. With the right spirit and intent, we can make our world a virtual Garden of Eden.

We were in Skane province and headed towards Karlskrona, a large city in Blekinge Province. A beautiful morning sunrise against trees.

Sulawesi, Makassar Sunset, 2006 - Makassar is also known as Ujung Pandang, the capital of Sulawesi. As the sun went down, I had delays in setting up my camera. When the first photo was taken, the digital card was full, so this is the only one. Makassar is a large town. It is the gateway to Torajaland, a place with unusual customs and good coffee.

India, Oxen And Camel Working Water Well, 1984 - I walked from Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan, across the Indian countryside to the Taj Mahal in Agra. I saw many new and interesting sites. Here, farmers use teams of oxen and a camel to turn the water wheels. Some villages had pumps, but the endless, deafening racket created by their engines destroyed the otherwise serene atmosphere.
