This website illuminates my life and adventures. My longing for freedom has led me to over 2450 of the world’s 3978 provinces, to every country on earth and to the summit of the highest peak on each continent (thank heaven for good weather!). In my travels, I learned to respect the intelligence and ingenuity of people of all races and callings both past and present. Come see the world as I see it: as a peaceful place, full of nature and beauty. With the right spirit and intent, we can make our world a virtual Garden of Eden.

Turkey, Adiyaman Prov, Mount Nemrud
Namibia, Zebras Under Dark Clouds, 2000 - The site of the zebra grazing while a thunderstorm carried on in the background was stunning.
UK, Gwynedd Prov, Rock Wall Up Mountainside
IN, Sulawesi Province, Toraja House, 2007, IMG_0747 - The architecture of the Toraja houses, in central southern Sulawesi, is unique, bearing resemblance to a ship with a high prow on front and back.
Turkey, Bursa Province, Crane
Azerbaijan, Oguz Prov, Three Boys
Vietnam, An Giang Prov, Brick Wall
Ascension, Woman Mountain, 2006 - Called "the ugliest island I've ever been" by some of my fellow passengers aboard the Alexey Maryshev, Ascension Island proved to be one of the most beautiful. I have never seen a mountain look like this.
Myanmar, Mandalay Prov, Bagan Temple Detail
Central African Republic, Carrying Baskets, 2000 - I was surprised to see these women on the road on the way back from Bayanga to Bangui. They had a distinctly Indian flair. All were black African, it appears, with the exception of the woman with the white bowl. She probably descends from the Indian subcontinent.
