This website illuminates my life and adventures. My longing for freedom has led me to over 2600 of the world’s 3978 provinces, to every country on earth and to the summit of the highest peak on each continent (thank heaven for good weather!). In my travels, I learned to respect the intelligence and ingenuity of people of all races and callings both past and present. Come see the world as I see it: as a peaceful place, full of nature and beauty. With the right spirit and intent, we can make our world a virtual Garden of Eden.

Slovenia, Dobrova-Polhov Gradec Prov, Landscape
Slovenia, Naklo Prov, Drying Rack Cross
Morocco, Berber Wedding Dancing, 1988 - On my first night in the Atlas Mountains, I was invited to stay in the village. That night they had a wedding. Here the figures dance in the dim light.
Turkey, Kars Prov, Landscape
Myanmar, Shan Prov, Horse Carriage
Slovenia, Ivancna Gorica Prov, Planting Poles
Bhutan, Tigers Nest Temple,1999 - This famous temple in Bhutan is reachable by foot a few hours from the road. After a steep walk up the mountain, I was told that it was not possible to enter it. But as I progressed further toward it, I found in fact that I could go inside the outer buildings. It is picturesque but suffers from a lack of isolation in the true sense. The ambiance is affected by its fame. Its proper name is Paro Taktsang.
Namibia, Termite Mound, 2000 - In Africa there are some really huge termite mounds. Finally, in this photograph, I was able to demonstrate just how tall they can become. The top of this termite mound was as high as the telephone wires.
Slovenia, Krizevci Prov, Tractor, 2006 - The Slovenes are hard-working people. I am one of them. My grandfather came from Slovenia in 1898 at the age of twelve, when it was still part of Austria. Going through all 193 Slovenian provinces gave me an insight into the basis for the character of my grandfather and grandmother (whose parents were born in Slovenia), who were remarkable examples of pure good.
Papua New Guinea, Jeff Shea Doing Handstand At Strickland Gorge, 1983 - In jubilation, having reached the eastern crest of the Strickland Gorge, I did a handstand!
