This website illuminates my life and adventures. My longing for freedom has led me to over 2600 of the world’s 3978 provinces, to every country on earth and to the summit of the highest peak on each continent (thank heaven for good weather!). In my travels, I learned to respect the intelligence and ingenuity of people of all races and callings both past and present. Come see the world as I see it: as a peaceful place, full of nature and beauty. With the right spirit and intent, we can make our world a virtual Garden of Eden.

Mauritania, White Baby Camel, 2003 - Chinguetti, where this photograph was taken, was an interesting place. This was the first time I'd seen a white camel. It delighted my daughter.
PH, Lanao Del Sur Province, Shawled Girl, 2008, IMG_9081 - This shawled girl had beautiful lips. She didn't appear so serious when she laughed.

Bali, Dancer At Sunset On Kuta Beach, 1983 - The first time I went to Bali was in 1983, after spending six months in New Guinea. By 2007, Kuta Beach had changed dramatically, for the worse, I might add. On my first visit, this dancer stretched on the beach at sunset.
