No sooner had we started out than it began to rain. Of course, rain presents both problems and opportunities for photography. Most would find it a nuisance, but some of us are excited by the possibility of catching rain falling or the mists and clouds lending an atmosphere of mystery or spectacle to a photograph. I sheltered my camera under an umbrella to take photos of a man and his wife paddling downstream.
