On the way, I came to Taroko National Park. The coastal cliffs fell directly to the aqua blue sea. Taroko Gorge was wonderful! I decided to make it part of Shea’s Register of the World8. Marble-like cliffs on both sides dropped down to a river and I could look straight down to it from Swallow’s Grotto! A little farther upriver there were mountain walls that must have towered 1000 meters high.
